GRADE NOTIFICATION INFORMATION

All notification of grades, including failures will be given through MyStudent. Parents must register for a new MyStudent account each year. The link can be found at: https://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/parents under General Information –> Check Grades and Attendance.

GRADING CODES

CIP = Collected
Teacher has collected the assignment/assessment and is in the process of grading it. No impact on grade until a grade is entered.
DR = Dropped
A student has a grade for the assignment, but it will be dropped and not used in calculation of grade.
X = Exempt
There is no expectation that the student completes the assignment. There is no impact on grade.
M = Missing
The student was expected to turn in an assignment or complete an assessment and did not. The expectation is that the student completes the assignment or assessment within the allotted time. A zero is used in calculation of grade.
0 = Zero
The student earned a true score of zero on the assignment or assessment.
I = Incomplete
The student was expected to turn in an assignment or complete an assessment and did not. The expectation is that the student completes the assignment or assessment within the allotted time. No impact on grade.
NG = Not Graded
The code is automatically generated when a teacher creates an assignment but has not input any grade or code. Once the assignment is collected, another grade should be entered.
