FBLA members attended the State Leadership Conference in Orlando, Saturday, April 28-May 1. It was amazing! Students participated in a variety of competitions, workshops, and voting.
We brought home the following chapter awards:
American Enterprise Project (The Business Symposium) 3rd Place. Chairperson: Nicole Lawler
Community Service Project (Father/Daughter Dance) 2nd Place. Chairperson: Kim Nguyen
Gold Seal Chapter Award – we have received this award each year for a total of 21 years!

For many years, River Ridge HS has handled the election of state officers at the conference. That means they support the state staff at conference registration, and set up and officiate at the voting. It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to see the democratic process in action. Our kids were truly up to the task and made us very proud.
